The Tigers are on the road against the nationals in a 4 game series. Both teams are off of a series win, the Tigers handling the twins, and the Nationals beating up on the Los Angeles Angels. Yesterday's game got postponed, so we are in for a double header in Washington today, and here is what Tigers fans can expect.

Tyler Holton is set to take the mound for the Tigers. Considering he's a 2nd string pitcher, he's not too bad behind Tarik Skubal. Being able to develop and learn from a pro like him has really help Tyler step into the frame of what a good pitcher looks like in this league, and it's safe to say Tigers fans shouldn't have to worry about Holton's pitching today.

One other thing to keep in mind is the Tigers are favored to win this series- but with the new double header that is about to happen, it's interesting to think about if fatigue or tiredness could affect the Tigers players. Will the Tigers make a change at the mound? Could we see more mistakes in game 2? With doubleheaders, it can really go either way. However, I think Tigers fans are in for a fun series!
