The Detroit Red Wings season has been underway for just over a week. and boy are they off to a good start. Winning 5 of their last 6, and currently sitting atop the Atlantic division in the Eastern Conference, this Red Wings team has looked a lot more dominant then in years past.
With Dylan Larkin and Cameron Talbot playing up and beyond their standards, hockey fans in Detroit finally have something to be excited about. Besides the strong start, Red Wings games have been electric. With a dramatic OT win against the Tampa Bay Lightning, this team keeps it fun and close at the same time, an awesome combo to have as a fan, although definitely a bit nerve racking at times!
We've seen false starts before in all of major league sports (see the football reference I did there? Anybody? No one finds it funny? Alright fine back to the article) hopefully this Red Wings team proves to be an outlier in that statistic, and we see plenty more wins throughout their season.
PS: About the fan of the year award, it would appear there is some confusion about who won. The official winner is Caden Rodriguez, and a supposed nickname he has is CP Rodriguez. I say supposed because some readers assumed someone else won the award, apparently a famous author who is also named CP Rodriguez. I thought Caden Rodriguez had a nickname he enjoyed known as CP Rodriguez. If this is not the case I deeply apologize. Hope this clears any and all confusion amongst the fans. As for Caden, if you would like me to write an article of your choice let me know, I see you already have a request sent in from before the award was announced, so I'll assume to go with that one if you don't let me know otherwise, and that will be published Friday. Enjoy!

OOOOHHHHHH, the winner was Caden Rodriguez! Congrats! I thought the legendary author CP Rodriguez won the award. (I think the confusion might have sprung from Mr. Caden Rodriguez being CP Rodriguez's lawyer). Great article, I like the Red Wings content and Dylan Larkin mention!
